To make the Receptor BUG helmet, we’ve taken the most advanced multi-purpose helmet out there, the Receptor + and altered it especially for snow sports. The patented system with double overlapping shells lets air in and heat out and protects from sharp objects. Ventilation can also be closed for cold days. An advanced outer shell makes for a tough and durable construction and provides excellent protection with help from the in-mold liner in polycarbonate and EPS.

The BUG series was developed to meet the demands of today’s skiers that are stretching the limits beyond what was thought to be possible only a few years back. The quality of skiing in any local back country or park is just amazing. And again, the need for protection has never been greater. The BUG series was derived from POC’s groundbreaking research and products on how to improve protection and performance.
